Citrosol renews itself at Fruit Attraction 2025 and premieres location in Hall 10

The leading company in post-harvest innovation will present its CATsystem®, Citrocide® Systems and GREENFOG-AS solutions at stand F22, with a reinforced international team.

Potries, September 11, 2025 - Citrosol takes a step forward in this edition of Fruit Attraction and premieres location in Hall 10, stand F22, with a space of 64 m² prepared to receive customers and visitors from around the world. Throughout the three days of the fair, a team of 26 professionals, including representatives of its subsidiaries in South Africa, Peru and Uruguay, will be present to serve both the domestic and international markets, thus reinforcing the company's global vocation.

This year, Citrosol is focusing on the CATsystem®, a pioneering innovation in citrus rot control. This technology stands out for its ability to measure and adjust in real time the concentrations of active ingredients in the treatment broths, thus ensuring more homogeneous, accurate and highly efficient processes. "CATSystem® is a unique technology in the world that allows automatic and precise control of post-harvest treatments. Its ability to correct variations in real time translates into a significant reduction in waste and claims, generating direct economic savings for our customers," said Jorge Bretó, CEO of Citrosol.

During the fair, Citrosol 's technical team will be available to explain and demonstrate live the operation of the CATsystem®, offering visitors the opportunity to see first-hand how this technology is transforming post-harvest treatments.

The Citrocide® Fresh-Cut system, a solution that uses Citrocide® disinfectant to provide safe and sustainable washing of minimally processed fruits and vegetables, will also be unveiled. Thanks to its continuous monitoring and automatic control, the system maintains concentrations within the appropriate ranges, avoiding cross-contamination and ensuring the traceability of the entire process. This innovative system is also certified organic and complies with EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) recommendations, which emphasize the importance of rigorous control of the disinfectant in post-harvest wash water.

Citrosol will showcase the potential of other innovations, including GREENFOG-AS, a "zero residue" fumigant treatment that acts directly on the surface of citrus fruit after harvest. Its action eliminates fungal spores and helps reduce claims, all through a green chemistry technology that consumes no water and generates no waste.

With these solutions, Citrosol reaffirms its leadership in innovation, sustainability and food safety, adding value not only to the global citrus sector, but also to crops in full expansion such as tropical fruits or stone fruit. "All markets are important, and at Citrosol we strive daily to maintain them and continue to grow in those with the greatest potential for fruit and vegetable production, where our technologies can make a difference," the company says.
