The Valencian firm's commitment to a healthy lifestyle is reaffirmed with the sponsorship of the paddle surf regatta organized by the Mediterranean Sup Race Circuit and the GandíaSurf School.
Gandía beach hosted, once again, the 8th edition of the Sup Race Citrosol. The Valencian company, committed to a healthy lifestyle, sponsored this event organized by the Mediterranean Sup Race Circuit and the Gandía Surf School.
The regatta, which took place on Sunday July 2 in a playful and sporty atmosphere, was very well received and was attended by a hundred competitors from various surf schools in the Valencian Community. This is the sixth year that Gandia beach hosts the test, which has the support of the Surfing Federation and took place from nine o'clock in the morning in front of the WindSurf School, located at the beginning of the beach of l'Auir.
Jorge Albiñana, CFO at Citrosol; Jesús Naveiro Murgui, Gandía's Sports Councilor; and Bailbina Sendra, Gandía's Tourism Councilor, were in charge of handing out the awards to the winners of this paddlesurf regatta, which is the last one of the summer. Naveiro Murgui explained that the competitors participated "in different categories both male and female, from eight years old to the absolute category through amateur".
Citrosol sponsors this event as a further demonstration of its commitment to the development and projection of the Valencian region of La Safor.
This activity, so fashionable nowadays, "is very simple", as explained Francisco Garcia, from the Gandia Surf School, one of the oldest in Spain and that began to carry out its activities since 1985. In addition, he explained that "in the case of beginners, as some of them learned two weeks ago and we assume that they will not have their paddle", from the Surf School put material at their disposal.
Citrosol sponsors this event as a further demonstration of its commitment to the development and projection of the Valencian region of La Safor, where it has been based for more than half a century.
