De-greening / Preservation

Control of the de-greening and cold storage room parameters is critical, as they are highly relevant in the fight to delay senescence, avoid the appearance of decay and contributing to a reduction in food waste.

De-greening and cold storage room parameters:

Our technical team establish recommended parameters for the de-greening and cold store conditions: temperature, concentration of Ethylene and CO2, relative humidity and maximum conservation time. The CITROGAS SYSTEM provides automatic control of atmospheric conditions within the rooms during de-greening and refrigerated storage.

Our data acquisition system has been designed to monitor, control and record the history of these processes, guaranteeing their subsequent traceability.

Additionally, we undertake on-site verification of the conditions within the rooms and of the fruit stored during the conservation and de-greening periods, taking measurements of pulp temperature, environmental contamination, etc.
