To fulfill our commitment to society, we firmly believe that we must investigate, develop, and innovate to provide more sustainable solutions that, coupled with our technical advice to the client, will guarantee the maximum effectiveness of treatments, closing the gap between the laboratory and real world industry results.
For over 10 years we have pioneered the sector, developing the CITROSOL VERTIDO CERO®️ System for drenchers and “drenchers online”, the first example of CIRCULAR ECONOMY in post-harvest treatments.
Our commitment to society involves developing sustainable technologies and products that contribute to reducing the industry's carbon footprint, helping our clients to mitigate food losses and reduce both water and energy consumption.
Research is an integral part of our identity; we apply that scientific rigor to the development of our equipment and application systems. Some of our innovations have changed the way of thinking about post-harvest care of fruit and vegetables.
A product with excellent results in the laboratory may not work in the day to day environment of the packinghouse; there are innumerable sources and factors of variability in the processes at an industrial level. Our commitment to customers is to obtain maximum efficiency and homogeneity in our treatments, for this, we develop evermore precise application systems, reducing the variability in industrial application.
CITROSOL was established in 1964, in the La Safor region, located in the province of Valencia (Spain), but soon expanded its scope with delegations in Murcia, Andalusia and the Valencian Community to allow us to be closer to our customers.
Currently, CITROSOL is present in the main citrus and other fruit producing countries around the world, presence in more than 22 countries, with its own staff in Egypt and Peru, and a subsidiary in South Africa.
