Citrosol is to launch the most progressive website in the post-harvest sector

Citrosol – the European leader in post-harvest treatments for citrus and other fruit, and vegetables – also aims to set the digital format benchmark for the sector with a website that reflects the increasing importance that non-physical communication has gained. In this way, Citrosol is striving to be a pioneer in its relationship with users/clients and sector professionals right around the globe.

Solutions tailored to specific types of fruit

Among the innovative developments included in the new website, is the Solutions menu, a section never before seen in the post-harvest sector, which includes all the integral solutions that the company offers to target each type of produce.

Access to this section is via a centralized menu which guides the user on a personalized route to Solutions for Citrus, Tropical, Stone Fruit, Vegetables, Pome Fruit, Fresh Cut, Organic Farming and Others. From within each of these sections, the user will be able to access information on initial treatment, online treatment, hygienic washing, preservation, deegreening/preservation, cleaning and disinfection, and transport. This information is then complemented with the corresponding products from our catalog.

Consultancy

Introducing our new Consultation section where our technical team will be available to provide assistance to other professionals and work with them to customize the industrial operation of their post-harvest application systems and to improve the different processes used to extend the commercial life of fruit and vegetables.

Company News and Sector News

Citrosol’s new corporate website augments its informative content with a News section, which encompasses the Valencian company’s press releases, information regarding product presentations, participation in research projects, sector events, etc. such that the reader may keep themselves up to date with the major milestones occurring in the agricultural sector, particularly within the area of post-harvest.

The News section is complemented with an informative bulletin or newsletter, to which users, interested in receiving news from Citrosol and the sector, can subscribe for free.

A corporate website is the greatest online strategy tool for any company and we are clear that our strategies, actions and objectives must be aimed at benefiting our clients, and so it was our priority to launch our new website that is fundamental for our clients”, explained Encarna Martí from our marketing and communication department, who added that “It has been a demanding exercise involving a huge amount of effort; a long-term project, but one that has led to a radical transformation of our current site which translates to substantial added value. We would like to express our complete satisfaction with the final result and we hope that our clients will also perceive the competitive advantages derived by this renewed website ”.

Company values

The new citrosol.com website reiterates our company values, such as continual ongoing research, reflected in the improvement in industrial homogeneity (maximum efficiencies), innovative solution incorporated into all of our processes and developments and our commitment to the environment through the different treatments and products that the Potríes company has been introducing to the market for decades. An identity of corporate values forming the backbone for the entire website.

The Company section brings these values to the fore, which are described in the, aptly named, ‘Circular Economy’ that Citrosol has championed since it introduced the concept to the sector with the launch of Citrosol Vertido Cero® (Zero Waste) in drenchers and ‘drenchers on line’. The reader can now explore a digital library outlining the main moments that have marked this La Safor torch bearer from 1939 to date. One of the more recent is our ‘Know How Container’, a small showroom that shows post-harvest best practices and their most critical stages. In reality, this virtual library reveals some of the history behind the Valencian company that has in turn altered the history of the post-harvest sector and of those operators who have chosen to walk alongside us, consolidating existing and opening new markets along the way.

A browse around citrosol.com/en will confirm that it responds to the desired usability criteria making it easy and intuitive to navigate; a versatile website that adapts to all types of devices, mobile, tablets, laptops and desktop computers alike. In all, a very attractive, current and responsive design.
