Citrosol’s ‘new normal’ is to redouble the effort we were making prior to the arrival of the coronavirus in our country. One of the mainstays of our commitment is upholding Corporate Social Responsibility. Over the last few years, Citrosol has been supporting grassroots sport in the Safor region of Valencia, where we are based, and we did not want summer 2020 to be an exception so, we are once again sponsoring the Gandía Surf School.
Due to the coronavirus the traditional summer regatta has not been possible; but it has been practical to continue with the development of the activities of the summer school at Gandía Surf, following all the protocols and prevention measures established in the current scenario caused by Covid-19. Taking of temperatures, use of hydrogels and the daily disinfection of all equipment and materials along with use of face masks and safe distancing have been in force throughout this summer on the beaches of Gandía. This was verified on site by the municipal authorities, both the Mayoress, Diana Morant, and the Councilor for Tourism, Vicent Mascarell, have paid visits to the surf school facilities on the sand of Gandía Beach.
The enthusiasm of the instructors and of their students to learn from the values derived from the sport and their mutual collaboration have made it possible to successfully develop this event backed by Citrosol’s sponsorship. Youngsters have been able to learn to sail a catamaran or mount a surfboard practicing a range of nautical disciplines from paddle surfing to windsurfing through to innovative concepts such as board yoga.
Paddle Surf takes front stage
Stand Up Paddle Surf is a form of nautical sport closely related to surfing. It consists of standing up and paddling a large surfboard. You can navigate on open water as well as surf the larger waves.
Its ease of learning, together with its ability to develop your physical condition whilst enjoying the sea, have outlined it for several summers as a sport that is not going out of fashion.
The organizer of our chosen summer school has been Gandía Surf, a company specializing in nautical sports. They offer courses in windsurfing, catamaran sailing, kite surfing and paddle surfing and are a school approved by the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community.
Citrosol reinforces the promotion of a healthy lifestyle by sponsoring sports activities and supporting organizations such as ‘5 a day’, ‘GlobalG.A.P.’, ‘Ailimpo’ and ‘BIODiversity grow’.
The market is crying out for alternatives to synthetic chemicals. Time passes inexorably; a great truth, which leads us to understand that there is nothing we can do to stop the advance of time. Everything that we have experienced as human beings, as entities, is associated with a moment in that time axis that marks the life history of each one, and as a survival mechanism lesson, to reinforce or to forget our experiences.Leer más
The size of the logistical challenges for a company with an international vocation can be as big as its market. However, the lessons of the pandemic have been turned to our favor with Citrosol taking measures to guarantee our stock of raw materials such that we will be able to supply our customers even in contexts as complex as the current one. Within this framework, Raúl Perelló explained the importance of communication when it comes to making Citrosol products known to users in its international markets, such as the importance of having a catalog that makes it possible for marketers to have their produce arrive on the other side of the world in the best condition possible.Leer más
