Thanks to the latest technologies, Citrosol has designed an artificial visioning system which helps adapt the wax flow depending on the tons of fruit deposited on the conveyor belt.

The main reason to develop this system was to achieve a correct wax application without regard of the quantity of fruit to be wax-coated as well as to reduce the use of wax and improve the application of fungicide formulas.

This project is continuously updated in order to implement every improvement made in the system.
The artificial visioning system has two video cameras and a set of lights that capture images from the conveyor belt and send them to the processing system. This one processes the information and calculates tons of oranges per hour. Thanks to these calculations and the data introduced by the user of the program, both the wax pumps are under control and the wax flow coming into them is adjusted.

In order to protect recently-picked fruit, Citrosol has created special formulas which have a high performance level and reduce the losses by being applied by through the drencher. In addition, we are improving the traditional drencher system with the introduction of the auto-administration function which looks for the excellent effect of the chemical formulas to be applied as well as their friendly use.
